Welcome to the Fiat Abarth 750GT Zagato Forum

We would like to welcome you!!!  We have created this site for car enthusiasts of all types, but it should be obvious by now, we have a passion for the Fiat Abarth 750GT Zagato (aka "Double Bubble").

The focus of this site is to allow others, like us, to have a place to learn about the Double Bubble's history, research individual vehicles, and connect with others who have similar interests.  One of our main hopes is that this site will become a forum to help us, and others, better understand the differences (and similarities) between the cars produced.  Even with the most diligent research, there are many things that are still confusing in regards to what is original or correct...and what classifies a "corsa" version.  Others may have questions about mechanical issues, restoration, or need a part or two or fifty.  We hope that by building a 750GT Double Bubble community of owners (current and past), mechanics, historians, researchers, and fans that many of these questions can be answered and, of course, new quandaries will certainly be raised.

We invite all members to explore the site and participate in the forum.  If you are a current or previous owner, enjoy connecting with and learning from some of the other owners.  We have tried to include what we feel would be useful resources (and of course we are always looking for more).  We hope you enjoy your experience here whether it is simply to surf the site, learn about the car, or looking for hard to come by parts.

The information presented is accurate to the best of our knowledge (as amateur historians) and we welcome corrections and suggestions.  We understand that there are holes (some gaping) in the history and documentation of many of these cars and we understand that mistakes may be present and "facts" of today may be discovered to be "inaccurate" tomorrow.  We also feel that it is important to give credit where credit is due and have made significant effort to provide references/credit to the appropriate sources.  If we have not provided accurate information or well deserved credit please contact us and we will be glad to make the appropriate changes.

Abarth Zagato Yahoo Forum President/Administrator

I have had a fascination with the Abarth Double Bubble Zagato since childhood watching them dominate the competition at Lyons Dragstrip in Wilmington, CA in the 50s and 60s.  I have always felt these cars are under appreciated and hope this website can give the owners and enthusiast a place to learn/share their experiences, knowledge, or expertise.

As a super fan and owner I love sharing my passion for the Double Bubble with others.  I also love researching the history of these cars and would say that trying to understand/evaluate the differences between each is probably my biggest interest.  My hope is that this forum can become a central location to learn and network.

Abarth owner / enthusiast since the early 1960's.   Instrumental in fostering and maintaining an international owner's community with the goal of preserving and enjoying the marque.

A good day for me is playing fetch, going for a car ride, and laying on the couch watching my human edit this site.  Woof, Woof.
