Does anybody have the wiring diagram for a Double Bubble. I have a new wiring harness but I looked underneath
the dash (which is pretty inaccesible) and the current wiring is a tangled mess. Is it the same as the wiring for a Fiat 600?
Has anybody replaced the wiring? How big a deal is it?
Thank you for your information. I belive the earlier models have two toggle switches and later have three. Hope you can fix your switches correctly and enjoy driving DB. I'm located in Japan.
My DB only has 2 toggle switches. The left is for lights. The right one is spring-loaded (lift up and spring back) and I assume it's the wiper. Most of my electrical systems (headlights, parking lights) don;t work because of miss-wiring by apparently incompetent people years ago. Of my 3 lights, only the right one works...occasionally as a turn indicator. I have a new wiring harness and the 600D wiring schematics and I;m hoping one of my 2 service shops can rewire the car. I'll be interested in the responses you get. Good luck!!! Curious...where are you located?
Thank you for your great help!
Now I'm clear how to wire them. Could you tell me some more about the colors of lights?
The far left should be IG-charge in red, The second left should be Hi-beam in blue, the second right should be panel in natural color? The far right turn signals in green?
Hope this helps. Left is ignition on, next head lights, far right is turn signals on my car
Could anyone help me about 3 toggle switchs and three lights function on the dash? I'm rewiring the dash, and would like to know the correct allocation. My right switch is not wired at all and would like to know what for. The middle one is for wiper, the left one is the light. Are they correct?
The colors of lights & functions, The right one is blue for hi-beam, mid is green for parking light, left is red for turn signals, Are they correct?
Thank you for your support!
Have you looked through the website sites resources section. Lots of good info. Might not find it immediately but I'm sure you will find it there or it's link. Look forward to you posting when you find one you like. 600 is. Good start.
I did not replace my loom, as it was replaced years earlier. I added wiring for original switches and the map light.
Yes, the wiring is very similar to the 600. I suggest starting with all the basic components (head and tail lights, then ignition, and dash switches). It's rather simple but given the restricted space, I removed the seats and was on my back to gain access.
