I have two 750 double bubbles and a PBS MK VII Sportsracer. One is the former landspeed record holder, the other hasn't been driven since 1965 in Houston. The sportsracer was stolen and not treated well. The problem is that I just turned 77 and don't think I have enough time left to do justice to the cars. I need to find someone who is young enough to take on three projects.
Hi....what ever happened with your cars? I too have a DB (in Nashville) and (I at 81; you're still a kid,,, :) am at the beginning of a cosmetic restoration. My DB was a historic racer on the East Coast and Sebring during the mid-80's. It has a significantly up-graded 750cc engine, suspension, cooling system and brakes and a bare-metal repaint. Would love to communicate with other DB owners to share information, support and repair issues.
