Greetings from California! I am mid-restoration on a 1958 750gt. One of the forged steel hood hinges was missing from my project, and I would like to get my hands on a replacement. An original part would be ideal, if someone is selling one. Alternatively, if i have to replicate the part, is there any interest within this group for reproductions of this hinge?

Updadte: no luck finding anybody with spare Zagato hinges, so I have made my own. I have CAD modeled them to match the form of the original forged steel hinges, then had them milled from billet 7075 aluminum. The result (once painted) is that they should look and perform as original, while weighing less than 1/3 of the original parts. I made a few extra sets. If anyone else finds themselves in the same predicament that I was in, feel free to contact me. Incidentally, I have seen these same hinges on Zagato bodied Ferraris of the same era.
