I recently had a new clutch installed on a 750GT I acquired - the previous clutch was slipping from oil saturation (leak has been repaired). I am now getting significant shudder when releasing the clutch to engage first gear - does not happen every time but requires extremely careful engagement at exactly the right rpms to avoid the issue. I am not experiencing any shudder in reverse or any other gears. Can anyone provide input into potential issues that could be causing this?

Thanks - just got around to replacing the gearbox mounts this week and it seems to have dramatically improved the situation.
From our resident mechanic Mike Pellegrino. (You might see if the flywheel was resurfaced, or check Trans mounts for broken mount.) Thank you Mike
