I have a 1960 Abarth 750 Zagato s/n 693930, which I purchased in Paris, France and imported in 2007. Unfortunately, there was a cracked engine block, so we secured a proper period-correct block and transferred all the ancillaries over to it.  It did need a new Pierburg carburetor which we found in England and sourced a correct air cleaner from Italy. In stripping the old paint, we found the bottom of the doors completely rotted due to corrosion, so we fabricated new door skins. The the car has been completely restored including fabricating a new firewall, tidying up the engine bay, and reupholstering the seats.
