Zagato-bodied Abarth 750 Engine and transmission value
What is the approximate value of a 1958 750GT Double Bubble unrestored engine or transmission that is not running due to its sitting in storage? Are either hard to find?

I can see others have chimed in already. I would do a search on classic.com for auction results of prior sales and look for a car that is in a similar condition. You can slo go to our prior auctions/sales page, but it only includes known sales from auctions, etc. The prices for these cars are all over the place. some really run down shells have gone for 18-20K. Some really nice fully restored cars for 85 - 180K.
If your block and transmission can be rebilt there are folks out there. If looking for a correct 747cc engine block, head, air filter, exhaust header, exhaust, etc it will be a big chore. I recently saw one for sale (claiming to be rebuilt) for 14K???? if i remember correctly. It was on instagram and i didnt save the post, so likely wont find it again. Many people use 850cc engines for replacements since 747cc engines are so very difficult to source.
If you wish to share photos and the chassis number please add them to the forum and we can archive the car on our forum image archive.
