I certainly understand the rational. I dont have any great solutions to your request other than having you feel free to create a forum posting asking if there are any other DB owners in your area, state, etc. The forum section here has always been hit and miss. We dont get a ton of traffic through the site. Our topic (double bubble cars) is very narrow and I suspect that 70% of our members dont frequent the forum. We do not plan to advertize or even try to focus on getting more members just for the sake of having more members. I suspect that the forum section will continue to be slow, intermittent, and used by just a few dozen people around the world. This was the pattern of the prior defunct Yahoo forum website that we archive on our site. That site was around for 10+ years and there usage was similar to ours. We have very unique and niche cars, thus a very limited amount of traffic. If this was a Corvette forum there would be hundreds of thousands of members and someone would always be active and commenting.

Also, FYI, I am not a website developer, or an internet technology guy. John and I created this website on our own as a passion/hobby for the marque, without assistance, using a website creating program. It took me 12 months to create the "bones" for the site and it has been adjusted slowly over the last 5 years. The "Website Program" we use does have limitations in its capability and I have limitations in my website creating ability. Sorry that we don't have the communication type or frequency that you are looking for. Unfortunately, I don't think that there is another online Double Bubble forum/website/etc that does. If there is one I am unaware of it. Atleast we have added a chat option and we hope that this new feature helps with your communication with others. If I come across another DB owner in or near Nashville I will certainly consider connecting you.
