follow up and update of the newly aquried 850ss
So after a bit more time, we managed to restore some of the brakes in the car. The first half of the pedal feels very soft, but the second half actually has pretty strong braking power. I’m wondering if there’s anything that could fix that issue.
I’m also sharing some engine photos and would love to know a bit more about this particular setup. I also have photos of many of the spare parts that came with the car — if you have any information or knowledge about any of them, I’d really love to hear it.

Once the brake pads wear down and bed in to the drum, I think the braking feel will become more solid.
The photo of the engine is interesting. The crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons look like they’ve been modified in some way. It would be nice to see a larger photo.👍
